Terms of Use — BedtimeStory

Supplements Apple’s Standard EULA (if selected in App Store Connect) with rules specific to AI-generated stories and this app.

1. Agreement

By downloading or using BedtimeStory (“the App”), you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

2. The service

BedtimeStory provides interactive fiction experiences, including story segments and choices. Some content is produced or continued using artificial intelligence (“AI”). Output may vary and is generated automatically.

3. AI-generated content

AI output may be inaccurate, incomplete, inconsistent, or inappropriate for some audiences. It is not professional advice (medical, legal, financial, or otherwise).
You are responsible for how you interpret or rely on generated text. Use judgment, especially for children—parental guidance is advised.
We may use third-party AI or speech services subject to their terms and availability.
We do not guarantee uninterrupted, error-free, or bias-free generation.

4. Acceptable use

You will not use the App to generate, solicit, or distribute unlawful content; harass others; infringe intellectual property; attempt to reverse engineer or overload our systems; or circumvent payment or usage limits.

5. Subscriptions & payments

Paid features, if offered, are billed through your Apple ID. Pricing, renewal, and cancellation follow Apple’s App Store rules and your Apple account settings. Refund requests are handled by Apple where applicable.

6. Intellectual property

The App, its design, and our branding are protected. Rights in AI-generated text may be limited by law and by our policies; replace after legal review.

7. Disclaimer of warranties

The App is provided “as is” to the maximum extent permitted by law.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or loss of data, arising from your use of the App or AI-generated content. Replace with jurisdiction-specific language after legal review.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate access for violations of these terms or for operational reasons. You may stop using the App at any time.

10. Changes

We may update these terms. Material changes may be communicated in-app or by updating this page.
